McDonald’s Philippines (Golden Arches Development Corporation) is seeking a senior finance leader to oversee the monthly close, consolidation, and financial governance across franchises and joint ventures. You will drive accuracy, controls, and timely reporting to support strategic decisions.

You will lead a team of finance professionals, collaborate with franchisees and cross-functional partners, ensure tax compliance, and manage external audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is an advantage.
• At least 5+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience in franchising, retail, or QSR environments.
• Strong background in financial reporting, taxation, compliance, internal controls, and audit management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, financial systems, ERP platforms, and Power BI.
• Proven leadership experience with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

What you will do:

• Financial Reporting & Controllership: Leads the monthly financial close and oversees the consolidation of financial results from sub-franchisees and joint ventures, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting while maintaining strong accounting controls and financial governance.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensures compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, franchise agreements, and internal policies by strengthening financial controls, managing regulatory requirements, and partnering with franchisees and cross-functional teams to uphold financial and operational standards.
• Billing, Collections & Disbursements: Oversees franchisee billing, collections, and payment processing activities, monitor payment performance, and works closely with Treasury, Accounting, and banking partners to improve cash management, transaction efficiency, and service delivery.
• Financial Analysis & Process Improvement: Analyzes financial performance, profitability trends, and key business metrics to support decision-making, while leading process improvement and automation initiatives that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
• Audit & Regulatory Compliance: Serves as the key finance lead for external audits, tax audits, and regulatory reporting requirements and ensures timely implementation of new tax regulations and accounting policies.
• People Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Manages a team of finance professionals, oversees performance and workload management, and builds strong relationships with franchisees, business leaders, service providers, and cross-functional teams to support organizational goals and continuous improvement.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA is an advantage.
• At least 5+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, preferably in franchising, retail, or QSR environments.
• Strong background in financial reporting, taxation, compliance, internal controls, and audit management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, financial systems, ERP platforms, and Power BI.
• Proven leadership experience with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
