Senior Finance Executive

Job summary

QTech Games is seeking an experienced accounting professional to own select close processes, review month-end entries, and analyze P&L variances across GL accounts.

The role requires strong Excel skills, accounting system experience, and familiarity with multi-currency intercompany reconciliations. Philippine tax and regulatory coordination support the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within iGaming.
• Strong experience in monthly management accounts and month-end close procedures.
• Knowledge of Philippine tax compliance, statutory reporting, and corporate filing requirements is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of accruals, prepayments, depreciation, amortisation and general ledger management.
• Experience with multi currency accounting, intercompany reconciliations and foreign exchange movements.
• Knowledge of GGR, NGR and gaming revenue flows is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict month-end deadlines.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage a high volume of correspondence.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems.
• ACCA qualification / Bachelor’s Degree or progress towards such is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned areas during the monthly management accounts close process.
• Prepare and review month-end accounting entries including accruals, prepayments, depreciation and amortisation.
• Perform detailed P&L analysis, investigate variances and highlight potential issues.
• Process and review general ledger transactions including AR, AP, bank postings and journals.
• Assist in client invoicing and ensure accurate revenue recognition.
• Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and reconcile multi currency inter-company balances, investigate foreign exchange differences and support group reporting eliminations.
• Analyse gaming revenue metrics including GGR and understand their impact on revenue reporting and commercial agreements.
• Manage the Finance mailbox, ensuring timely and professional responses to suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders.
• Act as a key point of contact for finance related queries, resolving requests efficiently and escalating matters where required.
• Liaise with Commercial, Business Intelligence, Operations and other departments.
• Support the Finance Manager with reporting packs, audits and ad hoc analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and controls.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of statutory and regulatory submissions for the Philippine entity, including tax filings, corporate compliance requirements, and liaison with local advisors
