Job summary

BHP is seeking a Principal ESG Tracking and Reporting professional in the Philippines to lead climate, environment, and social investment disclosures. The role emphasizes developing a robust ESG data governance framework, reporting against commitments, and partnering with cross-functional teams to accelerate ESG progress across the supply chain.

The position requires strategic thinking, stakeholder influence, and adaptability to evolving regulatory environments, with a focus on delivering value

Qualifications

• Experience in managing corporate priorities, including strategy, programs, planning, targets, governance and reporting.
• Experience in the natural resources industry, including operations, and supply chain, commercial and sustainability.
• Experience in influencing leadership and leading change.
• Demonstrated flexibility and learning agility to ensure that overall objectives are met.
• Data and digital-savvy: proficient in understanding data, technology, and the ways for digitisation.
• Demonstrated capability in understanding climate policy and broader ESG in BHP jurisdictions, including relevant regulatory and legislative requirements would be highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Translate prioritised initiatives into a strategic ESG Tracking and Reporting Development/Improvement Roadmap.
• Plan and tracks the delivery of and management of prioritised initiatives to generate value and drive the achievement of project outcomes.
• Liaises with Sustainability & Social Value and Commercial to anticipate key developments in ESG and prepare the business with improved emission tracking and reporting approaches.
• Support processes across the End to End Supply Chain Emissions Tracking and Reporting and Social Investment work.
