Job summary

BHP is seeking a Principal ESG Tracking and Reporting professional to drive sustainability data governance, reporting and strategy within the Global Business Services team in the Philippines.

You will lead ESG data uplift across the supply chain, collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders, and contribute to disclosures and stakeholder communications while ensuring alignment with climate and environmental governance priorities in BHP jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Experience managing corporate priorities, including strategy, programs, planning, targets, governance and reporting.
• Experience in the natural resources industry, including operations, and supply chain, commercial and sustainability.
• Experience influencing leadership and leading change.
• Demonstrated flexibility and learning agility to ensure objectives are met.
• Data and digital-savvy: proficient in understanding data, technology, and digitisation.
• Understanding climate policy and broader ESG in BHP jurisdictions is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Translate prioritised initiatives into a strategic ESG Tracking and Reporting roadmap.
• Plan and track delivery of initiatives to generate value and achieve outcomes.
• Liaise with Sustainability, Social Value and Commercial teams to anticipate developments in ESG.
• Build internal relationships to understand evolving cross-functional requirements.
