Job summary

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd is seeking a Manager Engineering to lead maintenance, reliability, and compliance initiatives at its site. The role requires strong leadership, hands-on supervision, and close partnership with QA and production.

You will oversee cGMP adherence, HVAC and water systems, preventive maintenance, and calibration programs, while coordinating spares, SAP work orders, and audits to ensure smooth plant operation.

Qualifications

• B.Tech or M.Tech degree in engineering.
• 12–16 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities.
• Knowledge of cGMP and safety regulations.
• Experience with SAP and preventive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• To ensure compliance to cGMP and Safety regulations.
• To ensure compliance to maintenance of process/ HVAC/Water system Equipment as per SOP
• To ensure smooth plant operation and manpower scheduling.
• To identify critical spares, procurement and its inventory.
• To review preventive maintenance records.
• Periodic review of breakdowns and its short term and long term plans.
• To ensure compliance of calibration and preventive maintenance of equipment’s, water system and HVAC etc.
• Support to validation team for periodic validation of process equipment’s.
• Follow up for AMC services like UPS.
• Review and maintain SAP work order to Process equipment's.
• Any other job assigned by Reporting Manager/HOD from time to time.
• Participation in all audits and responsible for compliance and response to records of process equipment’s.
