Job summary

ams OSRAM is seeking a qualified engineer to define qualification requirements for new products and collaborate with Reliability, Test development and Product Engineering teams to qualify hardware and software specifications.

The role involves executing Safe Launch requirements and ensuring a smooth hand-over of quality responsibilities from qualification to mass production with the CQM teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical).
• 5 years’ experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing and Engineering industry.
• 8D management, Task force leadership, Project Management experience is a plus.
• Ability to lead teams on project management issues during qualification of new products.

Responsibilities

• Defines qualification requirements for new products by acquiring customer-related and basic standards by industry and company.
• Collaborate with Reliability, Test development and Product Eng'g teams in developing the software and hardware requirements to qualify a product.
• Execution of Safe Launch requirements of a qualified product.
• Hand-over of quality role from qualification to Mass-production stage to relevant teams (CQM).
