Job summary

ams OSRAM in the Philippines is seeking a hands-on Hardware Test Engineer specializing in probe cards and related test hardware. You will perform incoming inspection, diagnose issues, and support hardware validation to ensure production readiness.

You will collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams, maintain spare parts inventory, and drive continuous improvement while adhering to safety and 5S standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electronics or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years in semiconductor manufacturing, test hardware support.
• Hands-on experience with Probecard Analyzer PRVX4 and T.I.P.S. Probe Refresher.
• Experience with probe card technologies preferred (Technoprobe/Feinmetall).

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection, registration, and tracking of load boards and related test hardware.
• Diagnose issues with probe cards and needles; perform corrective actions.
• Support NOGO activities, hardware debugging, and hardware validation prior to release.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to resolve hardware issues.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of spare parts and consumables.
• Support hardware transfer activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to cost reduction and operational excellence through problem-solving.
