Job summary

OceanaGold Corporation invites applications for a Senior Engineer – Electrical (Projects) at the Didipio mine on Luzon Island, Philippines. The role leads delivery of major site electrical projects, reporting to the Superintendent – Electrical Projects, with a 2-year fixed-term commitment.

Required: Registered Electrical Engineer with PRC license; 5+ years in heavy industry project delivery; professional electrical certification preferred. Onsite work with strong safety and collaboration culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project delivery within heavy industry.
• Registered Electrical Engineer with a valid PRC license (required).
• Professional Electrical Engineer certification (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Maintain field presence and verify controls during project delivery.
• Ensure design works use risk management tools (FRA, HAZOP, CHAZOP, SIL studies).
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to clarify design requirements and resolve issues.
• Prepare project documentation for all phases (Concept, URS, SoW, PEP).
• Coordinate interface meetings with operations to align project interactions.
• Ensure projects meet specifications and quality plans (ITPs, FICs, FTR).
• Drive continuous improvement across accountable areas.

Job Description

The Didipio mine is located on Luzon Island in the Philippines and is the Company’s only asset that produces both gold and copper.Didipio was built by OceanaGold in 2013 and operates fully as underground mine, with over 800 employees that support themine.

OceanaGold is seeking asuitably qualified, experienced, and reliableSenior Engineer – Electrical(Projects) to directly manage the delivery of a portfolio of major site electrical projects reporting to the Superintendent – ElectricalProjects.

Fixed term: 2 years

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Maintain a visible presence in the field whilst on-site by completing Critical Control Verifications (CCVs) with peers from the Project Development and Construction teams
• Ensure that design works for projects under management are carried out using the appropriate risk management tools including FRA’s, HAZOP’s, CHAZOP’s, SIL Studies, Design and Constructability Reviews
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Project Engineers, Construction Coordinators and other key stakeholders as required to clarify design requirements and solve designproblems
• Responsible for the preparation of project documentation for all phases of project delivery including Concept Studies, User Requirement Specifications (URS), Scope of Work (SoW) and Project Execution Plan (PEP)
• Responsible for ensuring that interface meetings are set up and carried out with operational departments to ensure interactions associated with projects under management are identified andmanaged
• Responsible for ensuring that projects under management are completed to the required specifications
• Ensure that all Quality Management Documentation is maintained for projects under management in accordance with the Quality Management Plan including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Field Inspection Checklists (FICs) and Field Test Record (FTR)documents
• Undertake a program of continuous improvement across all areas of accountability

Qualifications

• 5 + years’ experience in project delivery within heavyindustry
• Registered Electrical Engineer with avalid PRC license (required)
• Professional Electrical Engineer certification (desirable)
