Job summary

Databricks seeks a Lead Engagement Manager to accelerate customer value through adoption of the Databricks platform. You will collaborate across Sales, Field Engineering, Partners, Support and Product teams to position and sell engagements that solve complex business problems.

You will report to the Director, Forward Deployed Engineering and drive delivery excellence while leading cross-functional programs and client engagements in the Greater China region with Mandarin proficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience helping customers realize business value through production implementations.
• Proven track record in senior customer-facing/services sales roles.
• Strong leadership and program management experience.
• Ability to translate customer-success outcomes into structured program plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagements with customers leveraging Databricks platforms and our Forward Deployed Engineering team.
• Collaborate with Sales and cross-functional teams to understand needs and define success.
• Identify opportunities for new services by articulating business value.
• Develop commercial models to address customer budget constraints.
• Accountable for meeting or exceeding FDE and Training KPIs.
• Articulate customer success stories, service offerings and metrics.
• Consult with clients to define scope, requirements, time, cost and benefits.
• Estimate and scope statements of work as needed.
• Drive resolution of delivery challenges and manage expectations.
