Emerson Electric Co. is seeking a Firmware Manager to lead firmware architecture and product development across communication modules, energy solutions, and industrial technologies.

You will provide technical leadership and program direction for new development and lifecycle support to drive innovation, quality, and business outcomes. You will guide architecture, design reviews, testing specs, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with global teams and customers.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 3 years' demonstrated experience in a technical leadership role within firmware or embedded systems development.
• Strong knowledge of embedded firmware design, microcontrollers, or digital signal controllers (ARM-based or similar).
• Experience with system integration testing and validation practices.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, UDP, Ethernet, or fieldbus protocols in industrial environments.
• Experience with Agile development and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead firmware development projects with structured project management and continuous improvement.
• Define technical direction, architecture design, reviews, and platform development.
• Develop assembly and test specs for new products while ensuring quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards with design and certification teams.
• Identify partners to support product development and innovation; provide leadership updates.
• Support and develop team members through feedback and resource planning.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve product quality concerns.
• Drive process improvements to enhance execution, efficiency, and outcomes.
• Contribute as SME by researching advanced concepts and applying them to challenges.
