Job summary

OceanaGold’s Didipio mine in the Philippines seeks a Senior Engineer – Electrical (Projects) to lead the delivery of a portfolio of major site electrical projects from initiation to close-out, coordinating engineering, design and estimation inputs and ensuring rigorous project controls.

Reporting to the Superintendent – Electrical Projects, you will develop concept studies, URS, SoW and PEP, manage risks, and ensure QA/QC documentation, with field presence and collaboration with engineers and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a valid PRC license.
• 5+ years’ experience in project delivery within heavy industry.
• Professional Electrical Engineer certification desirable; PM qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of major electrical projects from initiation to close-out.
• Coordinate engineering, design and estimation inputs.
• Prepare project documentation and manage risks, schedule and cost performance.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation including ITPs, FICs and FTRs.
• Collaborate with engineers, construction teams and stakeholders to resolve design issues.
• Ensure projects meet required specifications and interface with operations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering

Registered Electrical Engineer with PRC license

Professional Electrical Engineer certification
