Job summary

Jacobs in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Building Services Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design across hospital and large projects. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, mentor junior engineers, and ensure compliance with NEC, Philippine Electrical Code, and international standards.

This role supports a hybrid working policy that balances Jacobs offices and remote locations, offering flexibility to maximize project delivery while maintaining client expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical design for hospital projects.
• Ability to develop single-line diagrams, schematics and protection design.
• Knowledge of LV and MV power distribution and relevant codes.
• Familiarity with Hazardous Area Classification and engineering documentation.
• Experience in QA/QC and design validation processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering for small projects or sub-lead for larger projects.
• Collaborate with the design team and other disciplines to complete electrical activities.

Your impact

As a Senior Building Services Electrical Engineer, you will be an integral member of the engineering and design team, counted on to perform a significant portion of Electrical engineering and design for our projects. You will need strong communication and interpersonal skills as you work closely with your Electrical Lead, other Electrical Engineers and Designers, and other disciplines.

It is expected that you have a solid foundation in the fundamentals of Electrical Engineering, knowledge of multiple subject areas, experience with specific codes applicable to Electrical engineering, understand how Electrical design integrates with and impacts other disciplines.

This position will require you to serve as a Lead Electrical Engineer for small projects, or as a Sub-Lead for larger projects. Works independently, acts as a Lead, collaborate with team of designers and engineers to complete all electrical activities. You will be given as much responsibility as you are willing to take, and your opportunities for career growth will be limited only by your own motivation, capabilities, and attitude.
