Qualifications

DC/AC Power Systems design & engineering experience.
In-depth knowledge of power system protection.
Experience with utility grid operation and load-flow studies.
Familiarity with PEC, NEC, IEC, NGCP/ERC/DOE standards and policies.
Strong technical writing for design standards & specs.

Responsibilities

Work with Business Development to ensure cost-effective project proposals.
Develop and maintain design standards, templates, and tools for BESS Power System.
Develop and maintain standard equipment specifications for HV/MV/LV power system components.
Develop standardized protection and control scheme methodology for MV collection and HV network coordination.
Model system-level PSLF/PSSE for grid-interactive inverter systems with the BOP contractor.
Collaborate with external consultants to support large generation interconnection documentation and budgeting.
