SMEC (An SJ Group Company) in the Philippines seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer (Licensed) to lead electrical construction supervision on major infrastructure projects. The role requires a strong background in inspection, QA/QC, and field testing within power delivery systems.

The ideal candidate has a BE in Electrical Engineering with at least five years of relevant experience, knowledge of PEC/IEC/IEEE standards, and proficiency with Office tools and engineering documentation systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Licensed Electrical Engineer (PE) in the Philippines.
Minimum 5 years in electrical construction supervision, inspection, or QC.
Experience in hydropower, pumped storage, power gen, substations or large infra preferred.
Familiarity with electrical testing and commissioning procedures.
Knowledge of PEC, IEC, IEEE standards.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering documentation systems.

Responsabilités

Conduct daily inspection of electrical installation works per plans and standards.
Monitor installation of power distribution systems, switchgear, transformers, and cables.
Verify materials/equipment meet approved specs and project requirements.
Witness installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
Ensure works follow approved method statements and procedures.
Review ITPs, QC records, and test reports; identify non-conformances.
Support safety and interface coordination with other disciplines.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inspection reports and handover docs.
