Job summary

Firm Five is seeking a Senior eCommerce Accountant to manage the full accounting cycle for US and Canadian brands selling on Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, Etsy, and more. You will complete and review monthly accounting in QBO or Xero, ensuring accurate financials, clean COGS, and timely reporting for fast-growing digital retail businesses.

Qualifications

• Experience with eCommerce accounting and reconciliations.
• Full-cycle accounting for a book of clients; fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Shopify, Seller Central, A2X or Webgility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage full accounting cycle for US/Canada eCommerce brands.
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile bank, processor, and marketplace settlements (Shopify, Stripe, PayPal, Amazon).
• Set up eCommerce-friendly COA and inventory categories; manage receipts.
• Ensure accurate revenue, COGS, and tax liabilities with English client comms.
