OpsArmy Careers is seeking a Senior Accountant to support end-to-end accounting and month-end close for a portfolio of ecommerce clients. The role may involve acting as Controller for certain engagements, ensuring accurate financial records and timely delivery.

Remote work setup is fully enabled, with a focus on inventory and cost accounting, QuickBooks Online expertise, and strong attention to detail to meet client deadlines.

Formación

• Proficiency with QBO and related accounting software.
• Experience with inventory and cost accounting for ecommerce/CPG.
• Experience with transactional accounting processes.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting methods for ecommerce/CPG businesses.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end month-end close for an assigned portfolio of clients, including AP, AR, and payroll-related tasks.
• Own specific accounting tasks within the month-end close cycle.
• Prepare and support the delivery of client accounting deliverables.
• Respond to client questions and follow up on outstanding items.
• Request, organize, and follow up on missing documentation from clients.
• Maintain clean, accurate, and up-to-date records in accounting applications, including Double.
• Identify and elevate open items, roadblocks, and issues to the Controller before deadlines.
• Support internal process improvements, efficiency initiatives, and other accounting team efforts.
• Work closely with the Controller and other team members to ensure client engagements are completed accurately and on schedule.
