Job summary

NCS Philippines is seeking a DevOps Lead to advance DevOps practices across the organization, shaping CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and cloud operations for secure, scalable environments. You will mentor engineers, align with development, security, and operations, and drive delivery excellence.

The role requires 7+ years in DevOps/cloud engineering, with 2-3 years in technical leadership, and AWS/Azure cloud experience. A strong emphasis on security, automation, and performance is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, engineering or related field.
AWS DevOps Engineer certification or equivalent cloud certification preferred.
7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or Infrastructure Engineering.
2-3 years in technical leadership or DevOps Lead capacity.
Proven experience designing and governing CI/CD pipelines in enterprise environments.
Experience leading multi-cloud or cloud-native implementations.
Strong expertise in CI/CD tools and automation frameworks.
Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud-native deployments.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and review of CI/CD architecture and infrastructure automation frameworks.
Drive DevOps maturity initiatives to improve release velocity, reliability, and security.
Evaluate and approve DevOps tooling, automation frameworks, and cloud strategies.
Oversee CI/CD pipelines design and optimization for cloud-based microservices.
Spearhead Infrastructure as Code for automated provisioning.
Automate workloads across single or multi-cloud environments.
Design scalable, highly available deployment architectures.
Establish monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks.
Lead incident resolution, root cause analysis, and preventive improvements.
Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and promote DevSecOps.
Ensure compliance with infrastructure, data protection, and security standards.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and performance guidance to engineers.
Collaborate with development, QA, architecture, and operations teams.
Translate business requirements into scalable DevOps solutions.
Communicate technical risks, improvements, and performance metrics to stakeholders.
