Job summary

Dexcom in the Philippines is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will develop IaC with Terraform, build robust CI/CD pipelines, and ensure observability and security across services.

You will collaborate with software engineers and IT ops, mentor juniors, and support incident response while advancing cloud-native solutions in a global CGM technology company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub).

Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Set up and manage Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and Error Reporting for observability.
• Automate operational tasks using Python.
• Ensure security best practices with IAM, VPC Service Controls, and Cloud Armor.
• Review and contribute to codebases across apps, infra, and CI/CD with GitHub Actions, Docker, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis for production issues.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and contribute to DevOps docs.
