Job summary

Axos is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, development, and operation of scalable CI/CD pipelines and application platforms in a global, hybrid environment. You will automate software delivery, ensure security and reliability, and guide teams across time zones.

The role emphasizes hands-on automation, platform ownership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive high-quality releases, uptime, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5-7+ years of total professional experience in software engineering, DevOps, site reliability, or platform engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with automation across the full software delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and optimization of end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation scripts and tooling.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and infrastructure teams to evolve DevOps workflows.
• Ensure pipelines meet deployment standards, security controls, and monitoring guidelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.
