Job summary

Luxoft in the Philippines seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines across on‑prem and cloud environments. You will collaborate with UK and Poland stakeholders and apply hands-on expertise in Ansible, scripting, and release automation.

Responsibilities include containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, code quality and security tooling, observability, and working with release management to deploy across environments. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of hands-on Ansible and on-prem DevOps experience.
• Strong scripting in Bash, Python, and Groovy.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Proficient with Git and container tech.

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines . You will be working with stakeholders across the UK and Poland and must to have hands-on expertise in Ansible and on-premises DevOps is essential .

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools and best practices.
• Manage and optimize source code repositories (Git), including branching and merge strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based, etc.).
• Configure and maintain build and dependency management using Maven (or similar tools).
• Integrate and manage code quality and security scanning tools (e.g., SonarQube, SAST/DAST) as part of DevSecOps.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Groovy, and Python for build, deployment, and operational tasks.
• Implement and support observability solutions using Prometheus, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and OpenTelemetry.
• Collaborate with release management teams to plan, coordinate, and execute application releases across environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in build, deployment, and production environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of release processes, toolchains, and operational runbooks

• DevOps Tooling exposure – Azure CICD pipelines, Artifactory, Nexus etc

• General Enterprise Technical Aptitude: networks, servers, load balancing, storage, etc
