Job summary

Socium - Teams Done Differently in Manila seeks a Senior Developer (Oracle EBS) with deep hands-on experience in Oracle EBS R12 and PL/SQL development to support enterprise applications in the industrial automation and software technology space.

You will design, customize, and maintain Oracle EBS applications across financial, service, and operational modules, while supporting integrations, optimizing database performance, and exposing EBS data through REST APIs for modern web apps.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of hands-on Oracle EBS R12 development, including customization and application development.
• Expert-level PL/SQL skills with packages, procedures, functions, triggers, bulk processing, dynamic SQL, and exception handling.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining Oracle Forms (6i/10g) and Oracle Reports in a live EBS R12 environment.
• Experience with concurrent program registration, parameter sets, design of request sets, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS financial modules (AP, AR, GL, Inventory, Fixed Assets) and service/operations modules.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and dynamic SQL.

• Configure Oracle Workflow and AME for business process automation and integrate across enterprise apps.

• Communicate delivery timelines, dependencies, and risks across teams; conduct code reviews and participate in Agile ceremonies.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Developer (Oracle EBS) with strong hands-on experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 and PL/SQL development to support enterprise applications in the industrial automation and software technology industry.

In this role, you will design, develop, customize, and maintain Oracle EBS applications across financial, service, and operational modules. You will also support system integrations, optimize database performance, and expose EBS data to modern web applications through REST APIs. As a shared technical resource across multiple teams, you will manage competing priorities while ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of business-critical systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle EBS R12 customizations across financial modules, including AP, AR, GL, Inventory, and Fixed Assets, as well as service and operations modules.
• Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, bulk processing operations, and dynamic SQL.
• Build and maintain Oracle Forms (6i/10g) and Oracle Reports to support business requirements.
• Register and manage concurrent programs, parameter sets, and request sets; troubleshoot failed concurrent requests and scheduling issues.
• Configure and extend Oracle Workflow and Approvals Management Engine (AME) for business process automation.
• Support integrations across Depot Repair, TeleService, Order Management, WIP, BOM, CRM Foundations, and other enterprise applications.
• Expose Oracle EBS data to web applications using Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) and REST APIs.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize SQL and PL/SQL performance through execution plan analysis, indexing, and other tuning techniques.
• Manage multiple priorities across teams and communicate delivery timelines, dependencies, and risks.
• Conduct code reviews, participate in Agile ceremonies, and contribute to technical design discussions.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and ensure adherence to coding standards and development best practices.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of hands-on experience in Oracle EBS R12 development, including customization and application development.
• Expert-level PL/SQL skills, including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, bulk collect, dynamic SQL, and exception handling.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining Oracle Forms (6i/10g) and Oracle Reports in a live EBS R12 environment.
• Experience with concurrent program registration, parameter set configuration, request set design, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS financial modules, including AP, AR, GL, Inventory, and Fixed Assets.
• Experience with Oracle EBS service and operations modules, such as Depot Repair, TeleService, Order Management, WIP, BOM, and/or CRM Foundations.
• Experience configuring Oracle Workflow and AME.
• Strong SQL performance tuning and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to document technical solutions for technical and non-technical audiences.
