Programmer Analyst – PL/SQL Developer

Job summary

UPTC is seeking an experienced IT professional to develop and maintain applications based on approved requirements and provide technical input on change requests. You will work with BAs on requirements and design, develop Oracle PL/SQL programs, and support Oracle E-Business Suite R12.

You will monitor databases with SQL Developer/UNIX, manage Oracle batch processes with UC4 AppworX/ODI, and build SSRS reports and web apps using PHP/MySQL/JS/CSS/Bootstrap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of Oracle PL/SQL programming/development.
• Minimum 3 years with PL/SQL and Oracle E-Business Suite R12.
• Experience monitoring and supporting databases with SQL Developer and UNIX.
• Experience monitoring Oracle batch processes using UC4 AppworX and ODI.
• Experience developing reports with SSRS.
• Experience with SQL Developer, SQL*Plus, and MySQL.
• Experience in web development with PHP, MySQL, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.
• Experience with SDLC and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications from approved requirements.
• Analyze change requests and provide technical impact analysis.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts on requirements and design docs.
• Develop and modify Oracle PL/SQL programs, packages, and procedures.
• Enhance existing PL/SQL packages per change requests.
• Provide technical support for Oracle E-Business Suite R12.
• Monitor and support client databases using SQL Developer and UNIX.
• Monitor Oracle batch processes (morning and night).
• Support batch monitoring with UC4 AppworX and ODI.
• Develop and maintain SSRS reports.
• Develop and maintain web apps using PHP, MySQL, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript.
• Create prototypes and perform unit and system testing.
• Investigate SIT/UAT issues and coordinate with vendors.
• Provide production support and deployments.
• Prepare deployment manuals and perform production deployments.
• Create summaries/reports for leads and stakeholders.
• Communicate change requests and support concerns with clients.
• Provide SME knowledge transfer and maintain SDLC documentation.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications based on approved business and technical requirements.

• Analyze application change requests and provide technical inputs for impact assessments and business cases.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts in preparing requirements and technical design documents.

• Develop and modify Oracle PL/SQL programs, packages, and procedures.

• Analyze, modify, and enhance existing PL/SQL packages based on change requests.

• Provide technical support for Oracle E-Business Suite R12.

• Monitor and support client databases using SQL Developer and UNIX.

• Monitor Oracle batch processes, including morning and night batch processing.

• Support batch monitoring using UC4 AppworX and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).

• Develop and maintain reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, MySQL, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.

• Create prototypes as required.

• Conduct unit testing and system testing to ensure applications perform according to specifications.

• Investigate and resolve issues encountered during SIT and UAT, coordinating with vendors when necessary.

• Provide production support, including troubleshooting, production fixes, and application enhancements.

• Prepare deployment manuals and perform deployments in the production environment.

• Create summaries and reports for leads and stakeholders.

• Communicate with clients regarding change requests and application support concerns.

• Provide technical support and respond to inquiries related to E-Business Suite systems.

• Provide knowledge transfer and serve as an SME for supported applications.

• Maintain technical documentation in accordance with company SDLC standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related course – NON-NEGOTIABLE

• Minimum 3 years of experience with PL/SQL and Oracle E-Business Suite R12 – NON-NEGOTIABLE
