Job summary

Nexperia in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Developer / System Analyst to lead MES, manufacturing and quality applications. You will analyze requirements, design and develop scalable solutions, and ensure delivery aligned with business goals.

You will work hands-on with C#.NET, Java, SQL and PL/SQL, design Oracle and SQL Server databases, mentor junior developers, coordinate FUT/SIT/UAT, and collaborate with global teams to implement robust systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, software engineering, electronics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in application development, systems analysis, implementation, and support.
• Strong experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements.
• Proficiency in C#.NET, Java, SQL, PL/SQL and related development technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server database management systems.
• Experience with MES, system integration, and application support.

ABOUT THE ROLE :

As a Senior Developer / System Analyst, you will play a critical role in the analysis, design, development, implementation, and support of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Manufacturing, and Quality applications. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and lead the delivery of high-quality applications. The role combines hands-on development with systems analysis, ensuring that solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with business objectives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications (FSD/TSD)
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise applications supporting manufacturing operations
• Develop solutions using C#.NET, Java, SQL, PL/SQL, and related technologies
• Design and optimize database solutions using Oracle and SQL Server
• Lead application enhancements, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support and coordinate Functional Unit Testing (FUT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
• Conduct root cause analysis and resolve complex application and system issues
• Collaborate with business users, project teams, and IT stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
• Conduct user training and provide post-implementation support
• Ensure compliance with development standards, documentation requirements, and best practices
• Participate in system architecture discussions and technology evaluations

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in application development, systems analysis, implementation, and support
• Strong experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements
• Proficiency in C#.NET, Java, SQL, PL/SQL, and related development technologies
• Strong knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server database management systems
• Experience in software design, system integration, and application support
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Experience preparing Functional Specification Documents (FSD) and Technical Specification Documents (TSD)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), particularly Camstar, is an advantage
• Knowledge of manufacturing and quality systems is preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global teams
