Job summary

Dyson is seeking a senior product leader to own end-to-end development for major new-to-Dyson offerings. You will define user specifications, advocate for technical requirements, and steer decisions to align with budget and schedule targets.

You will lead cross-functional teams across hardware and software, collaborating with operations, procurement, marketing and sales to maximise ROI and deliver robust, high-quality products on time.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Science; Systems Engineering preferred.
• 8+ years’ experience managing technical or manufactured products end to end.
• Knowledge of multiple tooling and manufacturing techniques.
• Proven experience delivering robust design solutions on time and within cost.
• Project management capability including schedule and risk management.
• Experience delivering within a product development framework.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical engineering (hardware & software).
• Exposure to production operations, procurement, supply chain, marketing and sales.
• Experience of managing people, mentoring, and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development as the focal point for significant new-to-Dyson product offerings.
• Own the user specification, key claims and technical requirements.
• Provide clear leadership and decision making to resolve conflicts.
• Deliver projects on time to maximise ROI.
• Manage product cost and project spend to meet objectives.

• Escalate risks and issues at the right time to remove blockers.
• Drive continuous improvement and better ways of working.
• Engage in operations and procurement strategy to deliver robust manufacturing and supply solutions.
