Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Data Scientist to support Mortgage Servicing Rights through analytics, data products, and risk management.

You will partner with modelers, business stakeholders, and tech teams to deliver trusted data assets, strengthen governance, and drive decision-ready insights. You will own end-to-end delivery of data tooling, contribute to back-testing and model valuation improvements, and ensure outputs are timely, tested, and well-documented in a governance-driven

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as financial engineering, statistics, math, CS.
2+ years in data-related development or analysis roles.
Advanced Python proficiency for data analysis and production-quality code.
SQL proficiency for data extraction, transformation, analysis.

Responsibilities

Assemble, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources.
Develop, test, and maintain Python programs for valuation modeling workflows.
Support portfolio valuation and risk management data needs with governance.
Translate requirements into datasets and data models for valuation and back-testing.
Deliver end-to-end data tools and analytics on a proprietary platform (Athena ASCode).
Ensure data governance and security compliance in all work.
