Maya is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to drive data-driven decision making across finance and lending operations. You will lead data science projects, develop advanced analytical models, and translate insights into business actions.

You will collaborate with business, risk, product, tech, and finance teams to identify data needs and deliver solutions that improve risk assessment and portfolio performance. The role requires strong programming and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (data science, statistics, CS, or related).
• 3+ years of data science and analytics experience, preferably in financial services or related industry.
• Strong programming with Python, R, or equivalent.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to convey concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders across portfolio management, risk, product, tech, and finance to define data needs and deliver data solutions.
• Work with other data scientists and MLOps engineers to implement solutions and improve processes.
• Develop advanced ML models and data solutions to enhance risk assessment and lending operations.
• Stay current with data science advancements and apply to improve analytics capabilities.
