Job summary

Thakral One Inc. in Metro Manila, Philippines, is seeking a Senior Data Consultant (GCP Migration) to lead hands-on data engineering and architecture for a large-scale Data & AI transformation on Google Cloud.

You will drive migration of Snowflake, Databricks, and other workloads to a secure lakehouse, design governance layers, and partner with stakeholders to ensure zero downtime and business continuity. The role requires 10+ years in data engineering/architecture and 3+ years in consulting,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering/architecture.
• 3+ years in consulting or professional services.
• Delivered at least one large-scale migration to cloud lakehouse.
• Experience implementing governance across catalogs and lineage.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver a governed lakehouse foundation on GCP.
• Design, implement, and migrate Snowflake/Databricks workloads to cloud.
• Develop ADRs, governance rules, and data quality contracts.
• Lead stakeholder workshops and drive adoption across teams.
• Troubleshoot and run dual‑run and hypercare scenarios.
