Job summary

AXA Philippines is seeking a Data Senior Manager for Governance to lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex data projects, ensuring alignment with governance standards and regulatory requirements. The role requires strong project management, data architecture knowledge, and collaboration with underwriting, claims, actuarial, and IT to drive data quality and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of experience managing large-scale data projects in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Strong project management skills with proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
• Deep understanding of data architecture, data warehousing, ETL processes, and analytics tools.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of data-related projects, including data migration, integration, analytics initiatives, data quality improvements, and regulatory reporting.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Engage with business units to gather requirements and ensure alignment across functions.
• Coordinate with IT, data teams, compliance, and external vendors to facilitate project execution.
• Provide regular updates and presentations to executive management and project sponsors.
