Vertere Global Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead design, development, and optimization of enterprise data pipelines in a cloud data lakehouse.

The role emphasizes Snowflake, ETL/ELT, complex SQL, and Medallion Architecture across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers. You will build scalable batch and near real-time pipelines, ensure data quality, governance, and performance, and support analytics, reporting, and advanced use cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on Data Engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Minimum 2 years with Snowflake including data loading, transformation, optimization.
• Hands-on with Lakehouse Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Strong ETL/ELT and data transformation, cleansing, validation, enrichment, optimization.
• Strong SQL with performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience with dimensional modeling and Star Schema.
• Experience in batch and near real-time data pipelines.
• Hands-on with Azure and Snowflake cloud platforms.
• Excellent communication and ability to translate requirements into designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex data engineering and analytics solutions.
• Design, develop, and optimize batch and near real-time data pipelines.
• Implement Lakehouse Architecture with Bronze, Silver, Gold layers.
• Develop ETL/ELT and data transformation processes and rules.
• Design analytical data models including dimensional modeling.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and workloads.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into designs and plans.
• Perform code and design reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
