Job summary

Fractal Analytics Inc. is seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer to design and maintain data models, build scalable ELT/ETL pipelines, and manage Snowflake environments. The role focuses on delivering clean, source-aligned datasets and data products for end users.

You will work with AWS S3, REST APIs, and Snowflake to migrate and ingest data, ensure data quality, and optimize performance. Strong SQL, Snowflake, and DBT skills, plus experience with large enterprise datasets, are essential.

• Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake DBT and ETL processes.
• Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture.
• Professional experience in data engineering and analytics engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Snowflake data models per LSA.
• Build scalable ELT/ETL pipelines from AWS S3 and REST APIs into Snowflake.
• Create and manage Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, stages, tasks, streams and procedures.
• Implement data quality frameworks, governance, lineage and metadata management.
• Tune Snowflake performance, clustering and warehouse sizing.
• Implement data sharing, masking policies and RBAC.
• Handle structured and semi-structured data, including JSON and flat files.
• Migrate data from Azure SQL Server to Snowflake.
