Lingaro Group Philippines is seeking an experienced Data Engineering Architect to lead design and implementation of scalable data architectures. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust data pipelines, models, and governance frameworks.

The role emphasizes cloud data solutions, security, and cross-functional leadership. You will guide a team of engineers, promote best practices, and ensure delivery aligned with the company’s data strategy.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Data Engineering Architect or similar role in Data & Analytics.
• Strong understanding of data engineering concepts: data modeling, ETL, data pipelines, governance.
• Experience designing scalable data processing frameworks and choosing appropriate technologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into data engineering solutions.
• Design and oversee data architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Define data models and schemas to meet business needs, considering volume, velocity, variety, veracity.
• Create data processing frameworks including ETL, pipelines, and integration solutions.
• Align data solutions with the organization’s long-term data strategy and goals.
• Evaluate data governance practices, including privacy and security compliance.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to enable effective data analysis and reporting.
• Provide technical guidance to data engineering teams and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Oversee implementation according to design documents and specs.
• Stay updated with emerging data engineering trends and technologies.
• Perform performance analysis and optimization of data systems to resolve bottlenecks.
