Job summary

Datacom Philippines seeks a Senior Data & Analytics Consultant/Engineer to lead the delivery of large-scale data platform and BI solutions, designing and owning end-to-end components. You will collaborate with principal consultants, practice leads, project managers, and client stakeholders in a client-facing capacity.

The role demands excellent communication, strong data engineering skills, and hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Snowflake, and Airflow to build scalable pipelines and models

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record designing and building modern data platforms in data engineering or analytics roles.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake objects (tables, views, schemas, stages, procedures).
• 5+ years in data engineering using Python and SQL; experience with Snowflake and Airflow.
• 5+ years using Airflow for data pipelines, scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and business rules with stakeholder workshops.
• Provide data profiling and integration guidance to clients.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms.
• Develop and optimize data models, transformations, and database objects in Snowflake.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline issues and ensure timely data delivery.
• Build and enhance workflow orchestration with Apache Airflow.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and DevOps practices for reliable deployments.
• Performance tuning of data warehouse solutions.
• Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to customers and internal teams.
• Manage development lifecycle with source control tools.
