Job summary

Topline Pro is hiring a Staff Analytics Engineer to own data modeling, organization, and scaling. You will build core data assets from systems like Stripe, Twilio, Dialpad, Salesloft, HubSpot, and more, turning them into clean, trustworthy data models that empower teams to measure performance and move fast.

This senior, hands-on role sits at the intersection of engineering, analytics, and business strategy, shaping data flows and the foundation for analysis across the company.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or closely related IC role with depth in modeling for consumption.
• Fluency in SaaS business metrics (MRR, retention, churn, cohorts, expansion) and associated modeling decisions.
• Experience with Snowflake and dbt including incremental strategies, testing, macros, and cost/performance considerations.
• Advanced SQL with careful modeling to avoid wrong numbers.

Responsibilities

• Own centralized data assets serving as the source of truth across the company, including governance and data quality guarantees.
• Design scalable data architectures and well-modeled dbt/Snowflake layers for SaaS-scale datasets.
• Model Stripe-like payments data including invoices, subscriptions, revenue, and related workflows.
• Codify standards for SQL optimization, documentation, testing, monitoring, and code reviews to ensure consistency.
• Lead high-complexity BI and analytics projects from design through production in Hex.
• Partner with engineering, product, operations, and GTM to translate needs into data solutions.
