Job summary

Spreetail is seeking a Senior Analyst to design and scale advanced analytics models and tooling that optimize transportation networks, reduce shipping costs, and drive EBITDA growth. You will build and enhance tools such as carrier dashboards, routing and ship-speed optimizers, chargeback and dispute systems, and cost benchmarking engines.

You will drive automation, improve data accuracy, and deliver predictive insights that support real-time and forward-looking transportation performance

Qualifications

• 4 to 6+ years of analytics experience in transportation, supply chain, logistics, or ecommerce operations.
• Strong SQL skills (Snowflake, Starburst, or similar) and advanced Excel.
• Power BI proficiency, including dashboards and DAX measures.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop analytics models and tools to optimize transportation cost, speed, and network performance.
• Own and enhance dashboards, routing optimizers, chargeback systems, and cost benchmarking engines.
• Deliver predictive and real-time reporting on KPIs such as transit time, on-time delivery, and freight spend.
• Provide fast, ad hoc decision support with a 24-hour SLA.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and support automation efforts while contributing to scalable analytics solutions.

In this role, you will develop and enhance key tools such as carrier performance dashboards, routing and ship-speed optimizers, chargeback and dispute systems, and cost benchmarking engines. You will also drive automation, improve data accuracy, and deliver predictive insights that support real-time and forward-looking transportation performance management across the business.

How you will achieve success:

• Design and develop analytics models and tools to optimize transportation cost, speed, and network performance
• Own and enhance key tools including carrier dashboards, routing optimizers, chargeback systems, and cost benchmarking engines
• Deliver predictive and real-time reporting on key KPIs such as transit time, on-time delivery, and freight spend
• Provide fast, ad hoc decision support with clear focus on business drivers and actionable insights (24-hour SLA)
• Collaborate cross-functionally and support automation efforts while contributing to scalable, high-impact analytics solutions

What experiences will help you in this role:

• 4 to 6+ years of analytics experience, ideally in transportation, supply chain, logistics, or ecommerce operations
• Strong SQL skills (Snowflake, Starburst, or similar) and advanced Excel; able to write and optimize complex queries independently;Power BI proficiency, including building dashboards and DAX measures from scratch.
• Selfdirected problem solver who can take an ambiguous business question, scope it, pull the data, and deliver actionable insight with minimal oversight.
• Excellent written and verbal English; comfortable presenting findings directly to USbased leaders and stakeholders, has experience working across time zones with US teams.
• Bonus: exposure to carrier rate analysis, freight cost modeling, or warehouse/inbound operations data.
