Job summary

GoTyme is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to lead security monitoring, threat hunting, and incident response across AWS, Azure, and endpoints. You will design detections, perform forensic analyses, and mentor junior staff to strengthen security controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7–10+ years of hands-on cybersecurity engineering/security operations experience.
• Proven ability to lead complex investigations and incident response.
• Deep expertise with AWS security services (CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Config, Security Hub).
• Strong Azure security tooling experience (Sentinel, Defender, Security Center).
• Hands-on with EDR/XDR platforms and endpoint telemetry; proficient in automation.
• Experience with threat hunting, MITRE ATT&CK mapping, and SIEM/SOAR use.
• Familiarity with IAM, networking, authentication protocols, and zero-trust concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced monitoring and analysis of security events across AWS, Azure, and endpoints.
• Design and optimize detection logic using CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Azure Sentinel, Defender, and EDR/XDR tools.
• Conduct deep forensics on host, cloud, and log data; produce executive incident reports.
• Drive proactive threat hunting and map detections to MITRE ATT&CK.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with teams to strengthen security posture.
