Job summary

GoTyme is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to lead security monitoring, incident response, and threat hunting with an AI- and automation-first mindset. You will design and scale security controls across cloud, endpoint, and identity environments.

As a subject-matter expert, you will mentor junior engineers, conduct complex investigations, and collaborate with technology and business teams to strengthen the organisation’s security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, CS, or IT required.
• 7–10+ years in cybersecurity engineering, SOC, or security operations.
• Proven leadership in complex security investigations and IR.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-severity security investigations.
• Drive end-to-end incident response activities.
• Perform host, cloud, and log-based forensic analysis.
• Produce executive incident reports and root-cause analyses.
• Support tabletop exercises and IR playbooks improvements.
