Job summary

Axos Business Center is seeking a Senior Security Engineer responsible for transforming the Security Operations into an AI-driven threat response function. This role focuses on complex incident investigation, advanced threat detection, and proactive threat hunting.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in cybersecurity with strong cloud security expertise. Additional responsibilities include enhancing the AI SOC platform and leading automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in incident response, threat detection, security engineering, or threat hunting.
• Strong technical expertise in cloud security, identity security, endpoint telemetry, and application security.
• Proven ability to perform deep-dive incident investigations.
• Hands-on experience with SIEMs and automation frameworks.
• Strong scripting experience (Python preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead complex security incident investigations across various layers.
• Design, build, and tune high-fidelity detection logic.
• Conduct intelligence-driven threat hunts across datasets.
• Improve AI SOC platform’s autonomous capabilities.
