Job summary

Lear Automotive Services (Netherlands) B.V. - Philippine Branch seeks a seasoned Customs Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence to PEZA, BOC and international regulations.

You will review ECO documents, manage applications, and drive accuracy in RVC verification across local and overseas teams. Responsibilities include developing SOPs, monitoring regulatory changes, and training logistics staff to maintain compliant export operations and minimize risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Customs, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in customs compliance, preferably in a toll manufacturing or export-oriented environment.
• Strong knowledge of FTAs, PEZA regulations, and BOC procedures.
• Experience with ECO systems and RVC documentation.
• Excellent communication skills both in English and local language.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with PEZA, BOC, and international customs regulations.
• Review and validate documentation for applying ECO to prevent errors and ensure accuracy.
• Manage ECO applications on behalf of the company, including submission and oversight.
• Streamline Rules of Origin (RVC) verification to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Act as liaison with local customs authorities and overseas customs teams.
• Develop SOPs for customs compliance and ensure consistent application.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update internal processes promptly.
• Provide training and guidance to local logistics and export teams.
• Review documentation records to ensure compliance with PEZA and FTA requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in customs operations to reduce risk and enhance efficiency.
