D2B is seeking a Senior Credit Manager to lead a high-caliber credit unit and act as the technical authority on complex grey area lending scenarios. You will guide a senior underwriting team, providing definitive decisions on million-dollar loan structures that fall outside standard criteria.

We expect deep lender-side experience with a Delegated Lending Authority, and the ability to drive fast, compliant outcomes while mentoring staff and managing critical files.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in an Australian 2nd-tier lender (e.g., Pepper, Liberty, La Trobe).
• Proven experience holding a high Delegated Lending Authority (DLA) and leading a credit team.
• Expert ability to analyze complex financial structures including tax returns and add-backs.

Responsibilities

• Technical decision making for complex self-employed scenarios and grey-area quotes.
• Lead and mentor a credit team, including a Senior Underwriter and Credit Analyst.
• Oversee all credit lodgements to ensure accuracy and fast, compliant approvals.
• Liaise with BDMs and senior assessors at 2nd-tier Australian lenders to overturn declines and negotiate conditions.
• Ensure SLA compliance and maintain fast, reliable credit processing.
