Job summary

WD seeks a General Ledger and Financial Reporting Accountant (CPA) in a hybrid Manila-area setup. You will handle statutory reporting, PEZA compliance, and audit coordination while managing journal entries and reconciliations. The role supports monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes and participates in PEZA registrations and finance projects.

You will implement process improvements, work with IFRS/US GAAP, and collaborate across teams to ensure accurate, timely financial statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; CPA certification required.
• At least 5 years of accounting/auditing experience.
• Manufacturing experience preferred; strong IFRS/US GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain secondary ledger for local statutory reporting.
• Prepare segregated financial statements per PEZA activity.
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit schedules.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and conduct variance analyses.
• Support PEZA registrations and finance projects; drive process improvements.
