Job summary

WD, a global storage systems leader, is hiring a General Ledger and Financial Reporting Accountant (CPA) in Biñan, Laguna. You will manage statutory financial reporting, PEZA compliance, audits, journal entries and month-end close, while driving process improvements in a hybrid work environment.

You will also assist PEZA registrations, perform reconciliations, and provide financial analytics and IFRS/US GAAP-compliant reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• CPA is required.
• At least 5 years of accounting/auditing experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle or SAP.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Secondary Ledger for Local Statutory Reporting.
• Prepare Segregated Financial Statements per Registered Activity for PEZA.
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit adjustments, reports and schedules.
• Involve in the implementation of finance projects.
• Assist in Registration of various PEZA projects.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Create journal entries in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP.
• Review trial balance and P&L for accuracy.
• Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations and monthly analytics.
• Participate in process-improvement projects in accounting and systems.
