Job summary

Firefly Electric & Lighting Corporation in Calumpit, Bulacan seeks a Senior Costing Engineer to lead a team of Costing Engineers and Sales Coordinators, ensuring accurate sales quotations and providing expert technical support for fabrication products.

You will drive cost reduction, ensure estimate consistency, align pricing with market goals, and mentor the team to improve costing processes while coordinating across departments to smoothly execute Job Orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of combined experience as Costing Engineer in a similar industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or other cost management software.
• Familiar with the Philippine Electrical Code.
• Willing to be assigned in Calumpit, Bulacan.

Responsibilities

• Oversees a team of Costing Engineers and Sales Coordinators.
• Ensures accurate sales quotations and provides technical support to the Sales Team.
• Identifies cost reduction opportunities and drives initiatives.

About The Role

Location: Calumpit, Bulacan

Reporting to: Engineering Manager

Schedule: 5-day work week

As a Senior Costing Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of Costing Engineers and Sales Coordinators, ensuring accurate sales quotations, and providing expert technical support to the Sales Team for fabrication products.

Other responsibilities include:

• Accountable for ensuring the accuracy and consistency of cost estimates across the team.
• Responsible for identifying and driving cost reduction initiatives through comprehensive analysis.
• Ensures alignment between product pricing strategies and market goals in collaboration with the Sales Team.
• Facilitates cross-departmental cooperation to ensure the seamless execution of Job Orders.
• Leads the development and mentorship of Costing Engineers, fostering team growth and expertise.

To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of combined experience as Costing Engineer in a similar industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or other cost management software.
• Familiar with the Philippine Electrical Code.
• Willing to be assigned in Calumpit, Bulacan.
