Job summary

Gratitude Philippines is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant - Supervisor to join our finance team in McKinley, Taguig. After 2–3 months onsite training, the role shifts to a hybrid setup with a night shift. The candidate will handle general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

The position demands strong Excel skills, ERP experience (SAP or similar), and the ability to manage month-end and year-end closings with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience.
• CPA certification preferred; non-CPA candidates may be considered.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Hands-on experience with journal entries, trial balance, balance sheet, and P&L.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or similar.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with Pivot Tables.
• Willingness to work onsite during a 2–3 month training and transition to hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries in compliance with standards and policies.
• Perform account and bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage general ledger accounts and support trial balance preparation.
• Assist in balance sheets, P&L statements, and other financial reports.
• Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results and variances.
• Handle large datasets for reporting and analysis.
• Prepare invoices, accruals, and other transactions.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
• Perform multi-currency bank reconciliations and related tasks.
• Assist audits with schedules and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for timely reporting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
