Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Corporate Accountant/Senior Accountant to join our team onsite in Pasay City, Philippines. You will own debt rollforwards, oversee intercompany accounting, and support monthly and annual close processes.

Ideal cand idate has 6+ years in accounting, strong IFRS/US GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel, and exposure to ERP/consolidation systems. Night shift; healthcare and performance bonuses are among the benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Approximately 6+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, debt accounting, intercompany accounting, consolidations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ability to analyze large data sets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across functions and geographies.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain debt rollforward schedules for term loans, revolvers, leases, and related journal entries.
• Coordinate intercompany accounting, eliminations, and reconciliations across entities.
• Assist with monthly management reporting, consolidated statements, disclosures, and variance analyses.
• Serve as a key contact for audits, coordinating requests and testing activities.
• Participate in month-, quarter-, and year-end close with process improvements and automation.

Your Role

As a Corporate Accountant, you will:

• Own and maintain the Company's debt rollforward schedules, including term loans, revolving credit facilities, finance leases, and journal entries for interest and amortization.


• Coordinate and oversee intercompany accounting, eliminations, and balance reconciliations across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.


• Assist with the preparation of monthly management reporting, consolidated financial statements, supporting disclosures, and variance analyses.


• Serve as a key contact for external and internal audits, coordinating requests, deliverables, schedules, and testing activities.


• Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, driving process improvements, standardization, and automation opportunities.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


• Approximately 6 or more years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting and/or corporate accounting within a complex organization.


• Strong understanding of financial reporting, debt accounting, intercompany accounting, consolidations, and balance sheet reconciliations.


• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze large or complex data sets.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong organizational, analytical, and multi-tasking capabilities across functions and geographies.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• CPA designation or equivalent qualification.


• Big Four or national public accounting firm experience.


• Experience in a multinational organization with exposure to foreign currency accounting.


• Experience with OneStream, SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or similar ERP and consolidation systems.


• Working knowledge of IFRS and/or U.S. GAAP, along with experience supporting external financial reporting and technical accounting matters.
