Job summary

Stagwell Philippines is seeking a Controller to join our Finance team. The role leads month-end close, prepares monthly financial statements, and supports treasury, intercompany, and budgeting activities for CORE Stagwell Shared Services.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, a CPA, 7+ years in accounting (public/audit a plus), 5+ years with Maconomy, strong Excel skills, and leadership experience managing a team of 5+.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• CPA certification required or eligible.
• 7+ years of related accounting experience, with public accounting a plus.
• 5+ years of Maconomy or similar ERP experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Review payroll, journal entries and monthly reconciliations.
• Manage network month-end reporting per global deadlines and guidelines.
• Oversee internal/external audits and ensure SOX controls.
• Coordinate budgeting and quarterly reforecasts.
