Job summary

AFRY Philippines seeks a senior electrical engineer to join our power sector team. You will prepare technical specs for SCADA and substation protection for renewable plants (solar, wind, biomass) and support procurement and bid evaluations.

You will design I/O lists, cable routing, and equipment arrangements, review EPC drawings, and ensure compliance with NGCP SCADA testing. The ideal candidate has 5+ years EPC/EPCM experience and strong English for multinational collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years in design and engineering of control and instrumentation.
Experience in EPC/EPCM environment; tender specs, vendor review, detailed engineering.

Responsibilities

Prepare minimum technical specs for SCADA and substation protection for renewable generating plants (solar, wind, biomass).
Undertake bid evaluations and lead technical negotiations prior to award of equipment supply contracts.
Prepare detailed design on I/O list, instrument cable routing, cable schedule, and equipment arrangement.
Review EPC design documents and commenting on key drawings such as control system architecture, control cable specifications, weather station instruments, cable routing, and panel diagrams.
