Job summary
AFRY Manila, Philippines, is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to lead the design and layout of solar and wind power projects across FEED, pre-feasibility and Detailed Design stages, including on-site surveys and field validations.
You will review EPC contractor plans, develop foundation calculations, coordinate with cross-functional teams (electrical, mechanical, environmental), and prepare technical specifications and 3D PV layouts for PVsyst analysis, all in compliance with NSCP,
Qualifications
- Licensed Civil Engineer with design experience on solar or wind projects.
- Senior role requires 6 years in civil design; 3 years for Civil Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of NSCP, DPWH DGCS, ACI, ASCE, AISC and international standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, PVcase, STAAD, SAP2000.
Responsibilities
- Design and layout of solar and wind power projects.
- Conduct on-site field surveys for solar and wind project development.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (electrical, mechanical, environmental).
- Review and update technical specifications for studies and projects.
- Prepare, review, and update foundation calculations and drawings.
- Review soil test data and formulate foundation criteria.
- Review EPC contractor plans and calculations.
- Develop PV layout 3D scenes for PVsyst analysis.
