Job summary

AFRY is seeking a senior electrical engineer in Manila to design protection systems for renewable plants and prepare procurement drawings. You will lead bid evaluations and technical negotiations with vendors, and develop detailed substation protection designs including I/O lists and cable routing.

The role requires 5+ years in control and instrumentation design, knowledge of renewables, and strong English communication within multinational teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of design and engineering in control and instrumentation.
• Experience in OE/EPC/EPCM environments and bid evaluations.
• Good knowledge of renewable power plants and related systems.
• Proficient with NGCP SCADA requirements and testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical specs and conceptual drawings for protection systems and instrumentation.
• Lead bid evaluations and technical negotiations prior to awards.
• Develop detailed substation protection design, I/O lists, cabling, and equipment layouts.
• Review EPC designs and comment on control system architecture and cabling specs.
