Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Relevant professional qualifications such as SISV or RICS would be advantageous.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, contracts or commercial management.
• At least 3 years in a senior role, with responsibility for managing commercial work packages and guiding Quantity Surveyors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the main contract and subcontracts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review contract conditions, specifications and tender documents to identify obligations, risks and opportunities.
• Manage subcontract tender enquiries, evaluations, negotiations, recommendations for award and preparation of subcontract documents.
• Prepare and submit progress payment applications, with supporting measurements and documentation.
• Assess subcontractors’ progress claims, variations and final accounts, and recommend payments.
• Coordinate with planning and project teams to support delay assessments and claims.
