Job summary

GS Engineering & Construction Corp is seeking an experienced Architect to lead and manage architectural works on a major project in Singapore. You will oversee on-site activities, coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve architectural issues and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• 10+ years experience on LTA projects.
• Proven experience managing architectural works for building or mixed development projects.
• Strong understanding of architectural construction, materials, finishes, and site coordination.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and multiple trades on site.
• Familiarity with Singapore construction standards, practices, and authority requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage architectural works and site activities for the assigned project.
• Establish construction detail schedule and coordinate with teams to resolve issues on site.
• Review drawings, specifications, and details to ensure proper site execution.
• Monitor progress and identify potential delays to protect schedule.
• Supervise architectural subcontractors to ensure work aligns with drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with structural, M&E, façade and other trades to minimize clashes.
